Congratulations are in order for our very own sailor, Lance Corporal Mills, on successfully completing the RSS TI Dive Course on July 11. The course was held in Barbados at HMBS Pelican from May 26 to July 11, 2025.

We extend our congratulations to our sailor on the successful completion of his training.

On December 11th, 2024, our nation was shaken by the heartbreaking news of a devastating traffic accident that tragically claimed the lives of five individuals. To the families and friends mourning their loved ones, the Commander Officer, Officers, and Enlisted Ranks of the Coast Guard extend their deepest sympathies. Our thoughts and prayers are also with those injured or otherwise affected as they navigate this painful time. To the grieving families, we offer heartfelt condolences. To those recovering, we pray for your healing and strength.

The Coast Guard was called and responded swiftly to the scene with two of its assets to assist in the recovery of individuals in the water; this is a demonstration of our commitment to the federation and a display of the motto of the St. Kitts and Nevis Defence Force: "COURAGE."

Congratulations are in order for two of our very own sailors, Lance Corporal Matthew V and Private Wilson A, on successfully completing the RSS TI Seaman Operations Course Level 2 CVQ (Coxswain Course) on December 6th. The course was held in Barbados at HMS Pelican from November 4th to December 6th, 2024.

We extend congratulations to our sailors on the successful completion of their training. By extension, Private Wilson A was awarded the Most Outstanding Student.

Congratulations to Corporal Phillips on successfully completing the International Boarding Officer Course on November 6th. The course was held at The International Coast Guard School in Cartagena Columbia from October 7th to November 6th, 2024.

We extend congratulations to our sailor on the successful completion of his training.

Congratulations are in order for our female sailor, Private Edwards, on successfully completing the US Cosst Guard Machinery Technician Course on November 7th. The course was held at the US Coast Guard Training Center in Yorktown Virginia from August 5th to November 7th, 2024.

We extend congratulations to our female sailor on the successful completion of her training.

The SKNDF Coast Guard Sea Cadet Camp was a success, and we are forever grateful. We extend thanks to the Commander of the St. Kitts and Nevis Defence Force, the Commanding Officer of the St. Kitts Nevis Defence Force Coast Guard, and the staff who took their time to nurture and have a positive impact on the lives of these cadets. Also, special thanks to Ms. Charisse Gumbs and Mr. Terrence Dolphin for their outstanding contribution to the Sea Cadet Summer Camp.
