The St. Kitts and Nevis Bureau of Standards (SKNBS) wishes to advise consumers, retailers, distributors, and importers that a recall has been issued for Squishy Dumpling toys and similar squishy squeeze toys due to potential safety risks.

These toys may contain water beads, gels, or other fillings that pose serious health risks. If swallowed, water beads can expand inside the body, causing choking or blockages. Some toys may also contain harmful levels of lead or other toxic substances and can burst and cause burns if exposed to heat.

If your squishy toy has no manufacturer information, smells strongly of chemicals, feels oily or sticky, is leaking, or tears easily, stop using it immediately and keep it away from children.

Return affected toys to the place of purchase or dispose of them safely. Retailers are asked to stop selling these products immediately.
