The Flower Arrangers Association is often engaged in hard but very interesting work in beautifying places of interest on various memorable occasions for example:-
The Columbus Commemoration Conference, which was held at the then Royal St. International Airport which was then Golden Rock Airport, Sir Thomas Warner Park and during the State's Independence Celebrations of 19th September, 1983. Kitts
Horticultural Society in holding an Annual Exhibition of plants and flowers. A floral art display at the National Agriculture and Industrial Exhibition held at Warner Park over the period 24th and 25th February 1983. The mannequin, which was formally clad in Palms, Anthuriums, Lilies, etc, was of great attraction to the crowd. On 10th September 1983, this Association mounted 5'5" x 3'8" replica of our new Federation Flag at Golden Rock Airport now the, R. It was made entirely of dried locally grown floral materials such as globe whistles, corn flowers, wood roses and the bark of a tree fern. A Floral Tribute was actually given on this piece of artwork, which was initiated by the then President, Mrs. Dickinson. The Association is quite active and steadily growing.
