Repairs are currently underway, with water service anticipated to be restored by 11:00 A.M.

DISCONNECTION NOTICE – August 2026

NIA Charlestown, Nevis (August 2026) – The Nevis Water Department hereby issues the following notice regarding the disconnection of water services.

Customers with overdue balances and/or outstanding balances of three (3) months or more are kindly advised to settle all arrears by August 21st, 2026, to avoid disruption of water services.

Please note the following:
- A $150.00 reconnection fee will be applied to all accounts scheduled for disconnection after August 21st, 2026.
- Any tampering or illegal connection will result in a fine of $1,800.00, which must be paid in full before the reconnection of service.
- Reconnections will be processed within 24 hours of payment, except between 3:00 P.M. on Fridays and 8:00 A.M. on Mondays, during which time reconnection services will not be available.

The Nevis Water Department advises the public that maintenance work will be carried out in St. George's Parish on Thursday, 13th August, 2026.

Water service will be interrupted from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Scheduled Water Maintenance Notice

The Nevis Water Department wishes to advise the general public that scheduled water maintenance will be carried out from Thursday, July 23, 2026, to Friday, July 24, 2026.

Water service will be interrupted from 11:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 23, until 6:00 A.M. on Friday, July 24.

The scheduled maintenance will affect customers in Cherry Garden and Malcolm Hill. Areas in close proximity may also experience low water pressure or temporary interruptions in water service during this period.

Consumers in the affected areas are encouraged to store an adequate supply of water to last throughout the interruption period.

The Nevis Water Department apologizes for any inconvenience this necessary maintenance may cause and thanks you for your patience, understanding, and cooperation.
