If anyone is thinking about travelling (leaving Korea, and coming back), let me know if you have any questions. It's not easy, and there will be plenty of surprises along the way.

I found a cool spot in a valley behind the train station last Sunday morning. Not only is there some super cold mountain water to swim in, but there is also a big, heavy stick to practice your golf swing with.

Perfect morning in Jinhae today. Teed off at 6 am. First time in about 10 years I have played a Korean course that doesn't have mountains on both sides of every fairway.

Hi Everyone. I've created this page for anyone who lives in Korea. It doesn't matter if you are male or female, or where you are from. I just wanted to provide a way for people to connect if they are dealing with any of the problems I have had in Korea, or facing any of the challenges I have had to overcome. I am not a life coach, and I am not pretending to be one. The only thing I am qualified to do is teach golf and drive a car. I have golf lessons in the morning and still teach English in the afternoon. If you are interested in golf, you can message me about that. But here is a list of hobbies/interests I have had and problems/challenges I have faced while living in Korea that I can definitely talk about for hours, and possibly help you with if you are struggling with any of them;

1) Golf- message me if you are you struggling with your golf game. (it's the only thing you have to pay for).
2) Learning Korean- I know this can be tough and often times frustrating. My Korean TOPIK score is level 4, so if you are taking that test for the first time I can definitely give you some advice (and connect you with people who have an even higher score than me). But if you are just looking to improve your speaking and listening, I can help you with that too.
3) Looking to lose some weight or get in shape (especially if you are skinny fat)- If you live in Changwon, I'm at the lake running the hills next to it every morning that I'm not at the gym. You are more than welcome to join me if you are looking to lose a few pounds.
4) Korean girls- this one can leave you scratching your head, even if you are Korean. Picking them up, dating them, going through a break-up. I have dated lots of Korean girls, and I've been here for 13 years now, so there is probably almost nothing I haven't seen. If a girl p*els an orange and just throws the orange p*els on your living room floor, message me and I will tell you why lol.
5) Looking to stop a bad habit- I have gone through two separate periods in my tenure here where suddenly I found myself drinking everyday. The price of a bottle of soju is a gift from god if you are looking to drink everyday after work. But I'm sure you are aware that it's not your best option looking forward. If you have this issue, or you are eating to much junk food, or spending too much time on websites you know you shouldn't be on, I've been there too. Hit me up and we can definitely talk about those ones.
6) Lucid Dreaming- I'm not an expert on this one, but can definitely help you with some ways to improve your sleep, remember your dreams, and induce a lucid dream if this is something you are looking to get into. It's basically the best thing that can possibly happen, when you realize you are having a dream.
7) And even if you are just struggling with cultural differences, or not really feeling life in Korea. I've been there before too, especially my first year.
