Mongtorang Farm, Taebaek🐐🌿

🌿Located about 800 meters above sea level, Mongtorang Farm offers refreshing views of Taebaek’s lush mountain landscape.

🐐Visitors can meet the goats up close and enjoy feeding them while spending time in the open pasture.

Through her trip to Yeongwol, Debby discovered a hidden gem filled with peaceful nature, art, and local charm. From the scenic views along the Donggang River and the lively atmosphere of Deokpo Five-day Market to Yeongwol Y Park and the Kim Satgat Culture Festival, every moment revealed a different side of Yeongwol. Waking up to birdsong, seeing mountains through the morning mist, and enjoying the riverside scenery made the journey even more memorable.🌿🏞️🎨

Yeonggeumjeong, Sokcho 🌊🎐

A scenic seaside spot near Sokcho Lighthouse, where rocky shores meet the open waters of the East Sea.

🌊 The name “Yeonggeumjeong” comes from the sound of waves crashing against the rocks, said to resemble the melody of a geomungo, a traditional Korean string instrument.

🌉 A 50-meter bridge leads out over the rocky coast to a pavilion overlooking the sea.

🏞️ From the pavilion, visitors can enjoy sweeping views of the East Sea and the surrounding coastline of Sokcho.

With the sound of waves and wide-open ocean views, Yeonggeumjeong offers a peaceful moment by the sea.

Samcheok Marine Cable Car, Samcheok 🌊🚠

A scenic journey above the East Sea, connecting the coastal villages of Yonghwa and Jangho in Samcheok.

🌊 The 874-meter route crosses the sea without any intermediate towers, offering uninterrupted views of the clear water and rugged coastline below.

🚠 Two cable cars, named Sunshine and Sunrise, glide between the stations in less than 10 minutes each way.

🏞️ From above, visitors can take in Samcheok’s clean beaches, rocky shores, and peaceful coastal scenery.

Floating between the blue sea and sky, Samcheok Marine Cable Car offers a refreshing way to experience the beauty of Gangwon’s eastern coast.
