Korean DMZ Vets Dedicated to those Veterans who served on the Korean DMZ from July 27 1953 (Armistice was signed) to October 3 1991 (turned last sector over to ROK Army).

Korean DMZ Vets, those veterans who served on the DMZ from the day the Armistice (July 23 1953) was signed till October 3 1991, when we turned the US sector over to the Republic of Korea Army. This page is dedicated to them, and especially to those who made the ultimate sacrifice, to keep the ROK free.

Funny, we can patrol the border along the DMZ to to keep infiltrators out of the South!  But we can't patrol the US bord...

Then, Major Roger Donlon (right) in the latter 1960s, founder of the Imjin Scout school. He was also the first Vietnam War Medal of Honor Recipient! Those that don't know, Roger Donlon passed away just recently, January 25 2024!
