🌿 Tick and Mosquito Season is Here! 🌿
Are you enjoying outdoor activities at dusk or dawn—like hiking or walking through tall grass in Korea? Make sure you’re prepared for tick and mosquito season!

✅ Protect yourself and your family with EPA-registered bug spray.
✅ Help your community: eliminate standing water—even a tiny capful can allow mosquitoes to lay eggs.

Be Tick Aware! If you notice a black dot (a tick) on your clothes or body, remove it properly:
1️⃣ Use clean, fine-tipped tweezers to grasp the tick as close to the skin’s surface as possible.
2️⃣ Pull the tick away from the skin with steady, even pressure. Don’t twist or jerk.
3️⃣ Dispose of the tick in a sealed container, wrap it tightly in tape, or place it in alcohol.

For questions or concerns, contact Public Health at 784-4494.
Stay safe and enjoy the outdoors!
