# Please Hold Me, Mom

The baby monkey clung tightly to its mother, crying with both hands raised.

Something had frightened it.

Its tiny face looked desperate, as if it were begging not to be pushed away.

The mother stayed close and kept the baby against her body.

Slowly, the little one stopped struggling.

Its hands relaxed.

Its eyes softened.

The fear had not disappeared completely, but being close to Mom made it easier to bear.

Sometimes a baby does not need an answer.

It only needs to know that someone will keep holding on.

# The Little Troublemaker

The young monkey sat proudly on the rocks, holding its tiny foot as if it had just discovered the greatest treasure in the forest.

It sniffed its fingers.

Then tasted them.

The adult beside it looked over with a face that seemed to say,

“Seriously?”

The little monkey froze for one second.

Then it did it again.

The adult turned away in disappointment.

The baby looked completely innocent.

Sometimes being young means learning important lessons.

And sometimes it means ignoring them completely.

# Mom Chose the Fruit

The baby monkey slipped backward into the hole while its mother sat above, eating.

It stretched its tiny arms toward her, hoping she would notice.

But she kept holding the fruit.

The little one kicked and twisted, trying to pull itself back up.

For a moment, it looked less like hunger and more like a choice.

The fruit was in her hand.

The baby was at her feet.

And the baby seemed to be asking only one question:

“Mom… which one matters more?”

# Too Rough, Mom

The baby monkey lay on its back beneath its mother, waving its tiny arms and legs.

It wanted to play.

But Mom seemed tired and impatient.

When the baby tried to wriggle away, she held it down.

The little one looked up with wide, confused eyes.

It did not understand why the same hands that usually protected it suddenly felt too rough.

For a few moments, the baby stopped struggling.

Then it reached one small hand toward her.

Because even when a baby is scared, it still looks to Mom for comfort.

# Where Is Mom?

The baby monkey crawled across the forest floor with wide, worried eyes.

Every sound made it stop.

Every movement made it look up.

For a moment, it thought it had seen its mother.

But no one came.

The little one stayed low to the ground, unsure where to go next.

It was trying to be brave.

But inside, it only wanted one thing—

to see the familiar face that made the whole forest feel safe again.

# A Kiss for the Little One

The baby monkey had fallen onto its back again, waving its tiny hands in the air.

It looked startled and a little helpless.

Before it could start crying, another young monkey rushed over and lowered its face close to the baby’s.

It was not a fight.

It was not anger.

It was a soft, curious kiss, as if saying, “Don’t be scared. I’m here.”

Beside them, the older monkey stayed still, letting the little moment happen.

The baby blinked up in surprise.

Then its body relaxed.

Sometimes love does not arrive with words.

Sometimes it comes as one gentle touch, one curious kiss, and the feeling that even when you fall, you are not alone.

# Mom, I’m Slipping

The baby monkey tried to climb up the stone, but its tiny hands could not hold on.

Slowly, it began to slide backward.

It reached toward its mother in panic.

For a frightening moment, the baby hung over the edge, kicking and crying.

Its mother quickly reached down and caught it.

The little one looked up, terrified but relieved.

It had almost fallen.

But one strong hand was enough to save it.

Sometimes love is simply this:

holding on when someone you love cannot hold on by themselves.

# Mom, Wake Up

The baby monkey cried loudly beside its mother.

Usually, one small sound was enough to make her look down.

But this time, she did not move.

The little one reached toward her face, then cried even harder.

“Mom?”

Still nothing.

The baby pressed closer, confused and frightened.

It did not understand why the warm body beside it suddenly felt so far away.

So it stayed there, calling again and again, hoping that one more cry would make Mom open her eyes.
