The Jeju Forum is Korea's most prominent and massive security policy convention. Hundreds of leading figures, decision-makers, and influential personalities gather on the picturesque island of Jeju to discuss the most pressing issues in international politics. Under the auspices of the Hungarian V4 Presidency, a panel discussion titled „The V4 between Geopolitics and Growth: Implications for Korea–Central Europe Partnership” was held with the participation of the ambassadors of the four countries, drawing immense interest from both the Korean and international audience. At the end of the session, Ambassador Szerdahelyi handed over the traveling plaque symbolizing V4–ROK cooperation to the Ambassador of Slovakia, the country next in line to hold the V4 Presidency.
제주 포럼은 대한민국의 가장 뛰어난 대규모의 안보정책 관련 포럼입니다. 이 포럼은 지도자와 결정권자, 영향력 있는 이들이 아름다운 경치의 제주도에서 모여 국제 정치의 가장 급한 이슈들에 대해 논의하는 자리이죠. 헝가리의 V4 의장국 임기 중, 의장국의 주도로 주한 V4 국가 대사들이 참석한 ’지정학과 성장 속의 V4: 한국-중부유럽 파트너십의 시사점’이라는 패널 토론이 개최되었으며, 본 토론은 한국과 외국인 관객들의 큰 관심을 끌었습니다. 세션을 마무리하며 새르더해이 대사는 V4-대한민국 협력을 상징하는 순회 기념패를 차기 V4 의장국인 슬로바키아의 대사에게 전달했습니다.
