The ASEAN-Korea Centre was established in March 2009 as an intergovernmental organization mandated to promote economic and socio-cultural cooperation between ASEAN and Korea in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Establishing the ASEAN-Korea Centre between the Republic of Korea and the 10 ASEAN Member Countries signed in November 2007 in Singapore on the occasion of the 13th A

7월 24일, 참가자들은 아세안의 다양한 모바일 게임을 직접 체험하고 게임을 통해 아세안의 디지털 산업과 콘텐츠 문화를 가까이에서 만나보는 시간을 가졌습니다. 특히 모바일 게임 리그를 통해 참가자들이 직접 게임을 즐기고 함께 소통하며, 아세안이 가진 창의성과 기술력을 더욱 쉽고 재미있게 경험할 수 있었습니다!

ASEAN Panorama’s July program, 「ASEAN Gamers’ Day · Mobile Game League」, was successfully held at the Seoul ASEAN Hall! 🎮🕹️✨

On 24 July, participants experienced a selection of mobile games from ASEAN and explored the region’s digital industries and creative content through an interactive gaming experience. Through the Mobile Game League, participants enjoyed games, connected with one another, and discovered ASEAN’s creativity and technological potential in a fun and accessible way.

📢 제61차 한-아세안센터 집행위원회 회의

제61차 한-아세안센터 집행위원회 회의가 한-아세안센터에서 8월 11일 개최되었습니다. 집행위원들은 한-아세안센터의 주요 사업 추진 현황을 점검하고 향후 추진 방향과 우선순위를 논의하였으며, 이번 회의에는 새로 부임한 캄보디아와 태국 집행위원이 처음으로 참석하였습니다.

사무국은 2026 회계연도 상반기 주요 사업의 추진 성과를 집행위원들과 공유하고, 하반기 주요 사업의 진행 현황과 세부 계획을 설명하였습니다. 또한 2027-2029년도 아세안 공무원 선발 진행 상황과 향후 일정을 보고하였습니다.

사무국과 집행위원들은 2026 회계연도 하반기 사업의 성공적인 추진을 위해 긴밀한 협력을 지속해 나갈 것을 재확인하였으며, 집행위원들은 한-아세안 협력 증진을 위해 한-아세안센터의 주요 사업이 효과적으로 추진될 수 있도록 지속적인 지원을 이어갈 것을 약속했습니다.

📢 The 61st Executive Board Meeting of the ASEAN-Korea Centre

The ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC) convened its 61st Executive Board Meeting on 11 August, bringing together Executive Board members to review the AKC’s progress and priorities for the year ahead. The meeting also welcomed the newly appointed Executive Board members representing Cambodia and Thailand.

During the meeting, the AKC Secretariat presented the outcomes of its major programs implemented in the first half of FY2026 and outlined the progress and implementation plans for key initiatives scheduled for the remainder of the year. The Secretariat also updated the Executive Board on the recruitment process for new ASEAN Seconded Officials for the FY2027–2029 term.

The Secretariat and the Executive Board reaffirmed their shared commitment to close collaboration and consultation to ensure the successful delivery of the AKC’s programs in the second half of FY2026. The Executive Board also reiterated its continued support for the effective implementation of the AKC’s initiatives in advancing ASEAN–ROK cooperation.

이번 전시에서는 미얀마의 미술 작품과 공예품, 전통 수공예품, 직물, 건강을 고려한 식품 등 다채로운 문화와 상품을 만나볼 수 있습니다. 또한 태국 존에서는 식음료, 출판, 반려동물 제품, 라이프스타일 상품, 디자인 분야 등 다양한 산업의 제품을 통해 태국의 창의성과 매력을 살펴볼 수 있습니다.

전시 개막을 축하하기 위해 오늘(7일) 묘 민 마웅(H.E. Myo Myint Maung) 주한 미얀마 대리대사와 타니 상랏(H.E. Tanee Sangrat) 주한 태국 대사가 방문해 전시를 둘러보는 시간을 가졌습니다.

아세안 파노라마 8월 전시는 8월 1일(토)부터 27일(목)까지(토요일 포함) 진행됩니다. 또한 8월 25일(화)에는 ‘한 낮의 북토크’가 개최될 예정이며, 사전 등록은 8월 셋째 주부터 공식 홈페이지(https://aseanpanorama.com/)를 통해 시작됩니다~

📢 Following the Laos, Philippines, and Timor-Leste exhibitions in July, ASEAN Panorama returns in August with special exhibitions featuring Myanmar and Thailand!

Visitors can explore Myanmar’s diverse cultural heritage through fine arts and crafts, traditional handicrafts, textiles, and health-conscious food items. In the Thailand Zone, a variety of products from the food and beverage, publishing, pet products, lifestyle goods, and design sectors are on display, showcasing Thailand’s creativity and innovation.

To celebrate the opening of the exhibitions, H.E. Myo Myint Maung, Charge d'affaires of Myanmar to the Republic of Korea (ROK), and H.E. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, visited the exhibition hall today (7 August) and took time to tour the displays.

The August ASEAN Panorama exhibition runs from 1 (Sat) to 27 (Thu) August, including Saturdays. On 25 August (Tue), the “A Book Talk at Noon” will be held. Advance registration will open in the third week of August through the official website (https://aseanpanorama.com/).
