Our Office calls on the DPRK to ensure freedom of expression and the independence of the media and allow individuals to freely access all types of media and information, online and offline.

볼커 튀르크 유엔 인권최고대표는 5월 중순 대한민국을 방문하여 광주 세계인권도시포럼에 참석하고, 서울에서 정부관계자, 시민사회, 조선민주주의인민공화국 이탈자, 국회의원, 청년, 외교관계자 및 언론과 만날 예정입니다.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Mr. Volker Türk, will visiting the ROK in mid-May, speaking at the World Human Rights Cities Forum in Gwangju and engaging in Seoul with Government, civil society, escapees from the DPRK, parliamentarians, youth, the diplomatic corps and the media.
