Last month, Citrus Australia and Australian orange growers visited Korea to meet with local partners and share more about this year’s crop - a great example of the close agricultural and trade ties between 🇦🇺🇰🇷.

정전협정 73주년을 맞아, 6·25한국 전쟁에 참여한 이들의 용기와 희생을 기리고, 🇦🇺🇰🇷의 변함없는 우정을 되새기는 시간을 가졌습니다.

로빈슨 대사는 2026 서울국제향군포럼에서 참전용사 및 각국 대표들을 만난 데 이어, 방한한 브래드 플래허티 호주 재향군인회 남호주 지회장과도 만남을 가졌습니다. 양국이 함께 일상 속 보훈을 실천하고, 국제 보훈협력의 길로 나아가길 기대합니다.

On the 73rd anniversary of the Armistice, we remember the courage and sacrifice of those who served during the Korean War, and reflect on the enduring friendship between Australia and the Republic of Korea.

At the Seoul International Veterans Forum, Ambassador Robinson joined veterans and representatives from nations that served during the Korean War. He was also pleased to meet Mr Brad Flaherty, President of the RSL South Australia, during his visit to Korea.

👏 Congratulations to John Roderick Munro OAM, an 🇦🇺 veteran and former President of the Korea Veterans Association of Australia, on receiving the Republic of Korea’s Order of Civil Merit (Seongnyu Medal). 🎖️

Presented at the UN Forces Participation Day Commemoration Ceremony in Seoul, this honour recognises Mr Munro’s decades of dedication to preserving the legacy of Korean War veterans and keeping their stories alive for future generations.
We honour Mr Munro and all Australian and UN veterans whose courage and sacrifice helped shape the 🇰🇷 we know today.
