There are two types of automobile insurance:
01. Automobile Insurance (for civil litigation)
02. Driver's Insurance (for criminal litigation)
In the case of 01,
it is an insurance mandated by the government for compulsory enrollment.
In the case of 02,
it provides coverage for criminal cases (such as traffic accident settlement fees, fines, attorney fees, etc.) resulting from incidents such as traffic accidents.
All automobile insurance subscribers in South Korea are required to subscribe to both of the above.
This is because automobile insurance for civil litigation alone does not provide compensation in the event of criminal litigation. Please take note of this.
If you prepare the following information and send a screenshot,
we will calculate your automobile insurance amount.
Driver's insurance is renewed annually, and if you sign the insurance contract with us, we will provide free support for one year.
1. Obtain LMS authentication in the Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance system first (a 6-digit code will be sent).
2. Photos of the front and back of your foreigner registration card.
3. Photo of the front of the vehicle registration certificate.
4. Bank and account number to receive insurance benefits.
5. Photo of the dashboard odometer (showing 000000 km).
6. Photo of the exterior of the vehicle license plate.
Please be informed that the above 6 items must be prepared for insurance premium calculation. Once ready, we will proceed with calculating the automobile insurance immediately.
If it's difficult to communicate via phone, messaging or KakaoTalk is also possible. Additionally, we will send you information about various insurance products handled by Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance and Samsung Card. Please feel free to inquire anytime after reviewing.
