Kuwait Weather: Heat Break Expected from August 24.
The Al-Ajiri Scientific Center said the heat is expected to begin easing on August 24, coinciding with the start of the Suhail season, which lasts 52 days until October 14.
The center expects temperatures to fall below 50°C during Suhail, with milder nights and continued high humidity, especially along coastal areas. It also noted that southeasterly winds will gradually reduce the intensity of the hot, dry “Simoom” winds.

Food Inspectors Seize 100 kg of Unidentified Meat at Jleeb Market.
As part of ongoing inspection efforts, inspectors from the Inspection Department conducted a field campaign at the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh wholesale market.
The campaign resulted in four violations for the sale of adulterated food, one violation related to improper thawing practices, and four food destruction reports, leading to the disposal of 100 kilograms of meat of unknown origin.
The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition affirmed that inspection campaigns will continue across all governorates to strengthen oversight of food establishments, protect consumers, and ensure food safety.

Strong, Dust-Raising Winds Expected Through Thursday.
is expected to experience extremely hot weather and strong northwesterly winds through Thursday, with speeds exceeding 50 km/h and visibility dropping below 1,000 meters in some areas due to blowing dust and sand.
Temperatures are forecast to reach 46–48°C, while nighttime lows will remain between 35–37°C. Winds are expected to gradually weaken from early Friday, bringing improved weather conditions.
Authorities urged people with asthma, allergies and chronic illnesses, as well as children and the elderly, to exercise caution outdoors and wear protective masks.
