The Annual General Meeting (“the AGM”) of the members of The National Trust for the Cayman Islands (“the Trust”) will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. at George Town Yacht Club, Barcadere Marina, 606 North Sound Rd., George Town. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for registration; light refreshments will be served.

Join the Little Cayman District of the National Trust for our next beach cleanup of the year - Monday, September 21st at Wearis Bay Beach at 5:00pm.

Our beach cleans focus on removing debris from our beaches, promote conservation, and raise awareness about marine pollution. Gloves, bags, and pickers are provided, as well as refreshments that are generously donated by individual sponsors and Little Cayman businesses. We look forward to welcoming some new faces to the beach cleans!

Our year-to-date total is a whopping 1255lbs. A huge thanks to all of our volunteers for their continued support!

Join us this Friday (Sept 11th) for a night under the stars! This month's darkest night will surely dazzle with several constellations, including Sagittarius, Scorpio, Andromeda, Cassiopeia, and the Big Dipper. And of course, the beautiful Milky Way!

There are many theories, but Greek "legend described the god Zeus bringing an infant Hercules to his sleeping wife Hera's breast so the baby could nurse secretly. A morning cleanup to change the pace and celebrating the success with coffee at the Seahorse Boutique.

Our group was small but managed to haul off a mighty load from the Pirate's Point Beach! While collecting the rubbish, we were able to identify a few Green Sea Turtle nests! An important beach to maintain through the remainer of the turtle nesting season 🌊♻️

🧮Here are the stats:
🚮Bags: 5
💪Volunteers: 3
⚖️Weight: 153lbs/69kg
➕Combined YTD weight: 1255lbs/569kg!

Another huge thanks to all of the independent cleaner-uppers who have added even more to our total. Remember - small actions add up, and this is a powerful way to give back to mother nature. 🌎 💚
