Sereniti Rankin wins bronze and earns England call-up
Congratulations to Sereniti Rankin, who won bronze in the junior girls’ pentathlon at the English Schools’ AA 38th Combined Events Championships in Bedford and has been selected to represent England Schools later this year.
*Competition highlights*
Representing Kent Schools on Sunday, 20 September, Sereniti delivered a superb series of performances, including personal bests of 12.21 seconds in the 80m hurdles and 8.53 metres in the shot put.
She also cleared 1.47 metres in the high jump, jumped 5.17 metres in the long jump, and finished with a 2:32.62 run in the 800 metres, giving her a final score of 3,070 points.

Her result has earned her selection for the England Schools team at the International Indoor Pentathlon in Glasgow this November, where she will compete against athletes from Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.
