📍Exploring KY2!

On 24 July, Deputy Premier and Minister for Tourism, Hon. Gary Rutty, and Parliamentary Secretary Heather Bodden joined the Ministry team for a familiarisation tour of Cayman Brac, providing an opportunity to experience firsthand many of the island's tourism offerings, cultural landmarks, and historic sites.

The tour included visits to several iconic locations, including the Cayman Brac Lighthouse, Pioneer Bakery, the Cayman Brac Museum, and the Cayman Brac Heritage House - highlighting the rich history and unique experiences that make Cayman Brac a truly special destination. We also had the opportunity to visit with the ladies of the DoT office in the Brac, Ms Mitzi Scott-Canigon and Yvonne Walton - a great chance for some team bonding.

The Ministry extends its sincere appreciation to Minister DaCosta for his hospitality, to Ms. Chevala Burke and Mr. Dwayne McFarlane of District Administration for expertly guiding the tour and sharing their invaluable knowledge of the island. Special thanks also to Ms. Saskia Edwards for an engaging and memorable experience at the Cayman Brac Heritage House.

We are also grateful to our tourism partners who warmly welcomed the delegation, including Le Soleil d'Or, Cayman Brac Beach Resort, Yogi Wall, NIM Things, and the Alexander Hotel. Your passion, hospitality, and continued investment in Cayman Brac's tourism product are greatly appreciated and we look forward to continuing to grow together. 🙌🏼
