Water Authority - Cayman is a statutory authority in the Cayman Islands that falls under the portfolio of the Ministry of Planning, Lands, Agriculture, Housing and Infrastructure. The Authority's mission is to ensure that the entire population of the Cayman Islands has access to a pure, wholesome and affordable supply of potable water; and to regulate other entities licensed by the Government to p

rovide public water supplies. Additionally, the Authority carries out development control relating to water, wastewater and groundwater.

📢 Water Authority–Cayman wishes to advise customers of planned leak detection work that will take place along Crew Road (between the junctions of Agnes Way to Tropical Gardens Road) on the Saturday, 13 June to Sunday, 14 June 2026, between the hours of 12:00 AM and 5:00 AM.

There will be no outages for the period of the leak assessment, however, to facilitate the work, traffic management measures will be in place. Motorists are encouraged to follow all traffic signs and to drive with caution in the area to ensure their safety and the safety of the Authority’s crew.

📢Water Authority–Cayman wishes to advise customers of a Planned Service Interruption on Seaview Road, East End, to facilitate the connection of a new subdivision.

To facilitate the work, customers on Seaview Road, between the intersections of Frank Sound Road and Sterling Lane, East End, will experience a temporary service interruption on Sunday, 14 June, between the hours of 1:30 AM and 5:00 AM, while WAC crew connects a new sub-division.

Additionally, to facilitate the work, traffic management measures will be in place. The Authority encourages all motorists to follow all traffic signs and to drive with caution in the area to ensure their safety and the safety of the Authority’s crew.

The Water Authority appreciates the patience and understanding of its customers and the public, and apologises for any inconvenience caused.

Plan ahead — don’t wait until your tank is empty! The Water Authority encourages all customers to keep a 3–4 day water reserve and place trucked water orders early.

✔️ All deliveries are first-come, first-served
✔️ Orders received after 4 PM will be delivered the next business day, or as the schedule allows
✔️ Voice recordings are not confirmed orders — A Customer Service Representative must verify
✔️ Emergency deliveries are only for medical or fire needs (with a $25 surcharge)

Water Authority–Cayman wishes to advise customers at The Venetia, 283 South Sound Road, George Town, that intermittent water service will be in effect from Monday, 8 June to Friday, 12 June 2026, between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM daily, while WAC crews conduct a leak assessment on site.

This work is being carried out in response to a low-pressure issue identified in the area. The assessment is a necessary step in diagnosing and resolving the problem to ensure reliable service is maintained for residents. To facilitate the work, customers in The Venetia will experience intermittent service between the hours of 9:00AM to 3:00PM, while the crew conducts the assessment.

The Water Authority appreciates the patience and understanding of its customers and the public as it repairs its infrastructure and apologises for any inconvenience caused.
