The Department of Commerce & Investment is a licensing and regulatory agency that works to provide streamlined, clear and efficient processing for businesses operating in the Cayman Islands. This includes Trade, Liquor, To***co and the Special Economic Zone (SEZA). We work in partnership with other Government agencies and the private sector to ensure that businesses are properly licensed under the law and the necessary regulatory obligations are met.

Dear Liquor Licence Holders,

On behalf of the Liquor Licensing Board, the Department of Commerce and Investment wishes to share an important reminder from the Elections Office regarding your legal obligations under the Elections Act during the upcoming General Election and Referendum, scheduled for 30th April, 2025.

All licensed liquor establishments are required to comply with the relevant provisions of the Elections Act on this date.
