Is your son struggling with challenging behaviours at home or at school? As a new academic year begins, now is the perfect time to put the right supports in place.

The SNAPยฎ (Stop Now And Plan) Programme is a comprehensive family intervention designed for boys ages 6โ€“11 experiencing behavioural challenges. Rather than focusing only on the child, SNAP works with the whole family, equipping parents and children with practical strategies to strengthen relationships, build self-control, improve decision-making, and support lasting success at home, in school, and beyond.

Give your child the opportunity to start the school year with confidence and the skills to thrive.

๐Ÿ’š SNAP Camp โ€“ Day 7! ๐ŸŽ‰

Today at SNAP Camp, led by the Family Resource Centre, we focused on the importance of fair play and sportsmanship ๐Ÿ…๐Ÿ’šโ€”learning that encouraging, respecting, and supporting one another makes every experience more meaningful.

The afternoon was packed with excitement at Strike Zone House of Fun where our campers and camp counselors enjoyed an action-filled game of laser tag! ๐Ÿ”ซ๐ŸŽฏ It was wonderful to see so much healthy competition, teamwork, and positive encouragement as everyone cheered each other on and put their SNAP strategies into action. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ‘

Throughout the day, we practiced keeping our problems small, recognising big emotions and big body cues, and using our SNAP strategies to make thoughtful choices even during the excitement of the game! ๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ’šโœจ

A huge thank you to Subway Cayman Islands for generously sponsoring our delicious lunch! ๐Ÿฅช๐Ÿ’š It gave us the energy we needed for a fantastic day of learning, laughter, friendship, and fun! ๐Ÿ˜„๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ’š

๐Ÿ’š๐ŸŽฌโœจ SNAP Camp โ€“ Week 2, Day 5! โœจ๐ŸŽฌ๐Ÿ’š

Today marked Day 5 of the second week of SNAP Camp, delivered by the dedicated Family Resource Centre team and our amazing volunteers. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ™Œ

Today's focus was dealing with anger. ๐Ÿ˜ โžก๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Š Campers explored what anger is, identified common triggers that can lead to big emotions, and practiced how to use their SNAP skills ๐Ÿ›‘๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ’ญ to pause, make good choices โœ…, manage those feelings ๐Ÿ’š, and stay out of trouble.

Along the way, we experienced a few challengesโ€”but we see these as valuable learning opportunities. ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’ก Every challenge gave our campers a chance to practice using their SNAP strategies in real-life situations, reinforcing that learning happens not only in planned activities but also in everyday moments. ๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ‘

This afternoon, we enjoyed a wonderful trip to the cinema! ๐Ÿฟ๐ŸŽฅ We are incredibly grateful to Webster's Tours ๐ŸšŒ for providing safe and reliable transportation, ensuring everyone travelled comfortably and safely. ๐Ÿ’š

A very special thank you to Dart, Camana Bay, and Camana Bay Cinema for generously sponsoring a complimentary screening of Toy Story 5. ๐ŸŽฌ๐Ÿฟโœจ

The film provided meaningful examples of emotions โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›, relationships ๐Ÿค, and personal struggles that resonated with our campers. It sparked thoughtful conversations about how the characters experienced big feelings, the choices they made, and how using our SNAP skills ๐Ÿ›‘๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ’ญ can help us navigate similar situations in our own lives. ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ’š

Thank you to all of our partners, volunteers, and families for your continued support. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’š We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow for another fun-filled day of learning, growing, and making great choices! ๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ˜Š๐ŸŽ‰
