We also invite you to enjoy a walk with the Cayman Brac Turtle Patrol, who walk the beaches daily searching for new turtle nests or baby turtle crawls, while gathering scientific data for the turtle research team. We watch for emerging young turtles who may be in danger and help any trapped remaining turtles to get out of the nest. Emergence starts near the end of June and runs thru September. Come join in the fun, walk the beach for exercise and help us spot turtle hatch-lings for safe release. The Cayman Islands have colorful marine life at great abundance. Cayman Brac offer easy entry to dive site located on both the North and South shores. Even spectacular Wall Dives are accessible from shore. The reefs have been protected since the late 1980's allowing Cayman Brac marine life to flourish. Any tour will result in great sightings of reef fish, groupers, sting rays, lobsters, and turtles. Our underwater tour guides will point out different marine life, from one inch Christmas Tree Worms and Sea Anemones, to the vibrantly colored Angel Fish.
