☀️ This summer, we welcomed our first-ever summer intern at the British Embassy in Kazakhstan!

Meet Lashyn from Nazarbayev University, who spent the summer getting a behind-the-scenes look at life at the Embassy, working on projects, learning new skills and experiencing diplomacy beyond the classroom.

🏆 Congratulations to Kamilya Tleubayeva, selected for the prestigious Chevening Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies (OCIS) Fellowship.

The OCIS Fellowship brings together outstanding professionals and academics for five months of research and academic exchange at the University of Oxford, focusing on Islam and contemporary Muslim societies.

We’re especially proud to celebrate Kamilya as one of the first recipients of this fellowship from Kazakhstan in recent years. 🇰🇿🇬🇧
