O Embaixador José Ataíde Amaral recebeu na Embaixada de Portugal em Astana os estudantes do programa de Mestrado Conjunto Erasmus Mundus.

O encontro constituiu uma excelente oportunidade para abordar a cooperação académica, a mobilidade internacional e o papel fundamental do programa Erasmus Mundus na promoção da excelência no ensino superior e no reforço dos laços entre Portugal, o Cazaquistão e a Europa.

A Embaixada de Portugal deseja a todos os estudantes os maiores sucessos no seu percurso académico e nas suas futuras realizações profissionais.

Ambassador José Ataíde Amaral welcomed Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's students to the Embassy of Portugal in Astana.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss academic cooperation, international mobility, and the important role of the Erasmus Mundus programme in fostering excellence in higher education and strengthening ties between Portugal, Kazakhstan, and Europe.

Portugal remains firmly committed to the principles of the UN Charter and to an international order grounded in justice, equality and the consistent application of international law.

O Embaixador José Ataíde Amaral participou a visita de trabalho de Chefes de Missão da União Europeia e países like-minded à cidade de Oral e à Região do Cazaquistão Ocidental.

A comitiva foi recebida pelo Akim da Região do Cazaquistão Ocidental, Nariman Turegaliev, que organizou uma mesa-redonda sobre desenvolvimento regional, cooperação económica e oportunidades de investimento.

Os Chefes de Missão tiveram oportunidade de visitar empresas de diversos setores de atividade, que ilustram o dinamismo económico da Região, bem como o Museu Regional de História e Tradição Local do Cazaquistão Ocidental, um dos mais antigos do país.

Durante a visita, também teve lugar um encontro dos Chefes de Missão com estudantes da Universidade do Cazaquistão Ocidental Makhambet Utemisov, instituição de Ensino Superior que é uma referência na Região.

Ambassador José Ataíde Amaral participated in the working visit of Heads of Mission from the European Union and like-minded countries to the city of Oral and the Western Kazakhstan Region.

The delegation was received by the Akim of the Western Kazakhstan Region, Nariman Turegaliev, who organized a round table discussion on regional development, economic cooperation, and investment opportunities.

The Heads of Mission had the opportunity to visit companies from various sectors, illustrating the economic dynamism of the Region, as well as the West Kazakhstan Regional History and Local Lore Museum, one of the oldest in the country.

During the visit, there was also a meeting between the Heads of Mission and students from Makhambet Utemisov University of Western Kazakhstan, a leading higher education institution in the Region.

A Embaixada de Portugal em Astana celebrou do Dia de Portugal, de Camões e das Comunidades Portuguesas.

A cerimónia oficial contou com os discursos do Embaixador José Ataíde Amaral e do Embaixador at-large Bakyt Dyussenbayev, enfatizando as conexões entre os dois países e o desejo comum de aprofundar as relações bilaterais.

Esta comemoração contou com uma atuação de fado, música tradicional portuguesa reconhecida como Património Cultural Imaterial da UNESCO, interpretado pelo reconhecido músico Luís Guerreiro na guitarra portuguesa, Matilde Cid na voz e João Filipe na viola de fado.

The Portuguese Embassy in Astana celebrated Portugal Day, Camões Day, and Portuguese Communities Day.

The official ceremony included speeches by Ambassador José Ataíde Amaral and Ambassador-at-Large Bakyt Dyussenbayev, emphasizing the connections between the two countries and the shared desire to deepen bilateral relations.

This celebration featured a performance of fado, traditional Portuguese music recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO, performed by renowned musician Luís Guerreiro on the Portuguese guitar, Matilde Cid on vocals, and João Filipe on the fado viola.

O Embaixador de Portugal no Cazaquistão, José Ataíde Amaral, teve o prazer de se reunir com o Senhor Aidos Sarym, Deputado do Mazhilis do Parlamento da República do Cazaquistão e Presidente do Grupo Parlamentar de Amizade Cazaquistão–Portugal.

O encontro constituiu uma excelente oportunidade para debater formas de reforçar ainda mais as relações bilaterais, aprofundar a cooperação parlamentar e explorar novas oportunidades de colaboração em áreas de interesse mútuo, nomeadamente comércio, inovação, tecnologias digitais, energia e agricultura.

Portugal mantém o seu firme compromisso de aprofundar a parceria com o Cazaquistão, tanto a nível bilateral como no âmbito dos mecanismos parlamentares internacionais e dos fóruns multilaterais.

Ambassador José Ataíde Amaral was pleased to meet with Mr. Aidos Sarym, Member of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan and Head of the Kazakhstan-Portugal Parliamentary Friendship Group.

The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to discuss ways to further strengthen bilateral relations, enhance parliamentary cooperation, and explore new opportunities for collaboration in areas of mutual interest, including trade, innovation, digital technologies, energy, and agriculture.

Portugal remains committed to deepening its partnership with Kazakhstan, both bilaterally and within international parliamentary and multilateral frameworks.
