Vientiane Rescue 1623 is currently being pushed to its limits by the current fuel crisis, with some of our stations already running dry.
Therefore:
- We'll only dispatch ambulances to real, life threatening emergencies
- Non critical emergencies won't be attended to
- For snakes, consider spraying water at them, don't call us unless it's a cobra or a known venomous snake inside the house
- Our line is only available in Lao language (reminder)
While our service is free of charge, it's very expensive to operate. - Consider donating.

Dramatic private plane accident this morning near Nam Ngum lake. Our team dispatched an ambulance and our hydraulic rescue team to extract two victims from the wreckage.

Yesterday we lost someone dare to our heart. Our managers from Vientiane came today to Vang Vieng to pay their respect to the mother of our young brother. RIP Tovanni ❤️❤️❤️

Serious accident downtown last night that mobilized 2 of our ambulances and our fire truck to free the driver by cutting the truck open. The drivers of this type of truck, in case of frontal collision, get systematically trapped.
