التقت وزيرة السياحة لورا لحود بنظيرتها اليونانية أولغا كيفالوجياني خلال زيارتها أثينا، وتم بحث سبل تعزيز التعاون الثنائي في القطاع السياحي وتطوير العلاقات التاريخية التي تجمع البلدين.
​وتناول اللقاء مناقشة التطورات الأخيرة والأزمة الراهنة في المنطقة، مع التأكيد على أهمية الاستقرار لدعم النمو الاقتصادي والسياحي في حوض البحر الأبيض المتوسط. كما بحثتا تفعيل برامج تبادل الخبرات، واستراتيجيات الترويج السياحي المشترك، وتسهيل حركة السياحة والرحلات الجوية بين لبنان واليونان خلال المرحلة المقبلة.

Minister of Tourism Laura Lahoud met with her Greek counterpart, Olga Kefalogianni, during her visit to Athens, where they discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the tourism sector and further develop the longstanding ties between Lebanon and Greece.

The meeting also addressed recent developments and the ongoing crisis in the region, with both ministers emphasizing the importance of stability in supporting economic and tourism growth across the Mediterranean. They also discussed enhancing expertise exchange programs, developing joint tourism promotion strategies, and facilitating tourism flows and air connectivity between Lebanon and Greece in the coming period.

في أجواء حماسية، وضمن فعاليات الأسبوع الرياضي الذي يقام في لبنان بين ١٥ و٢١ أيلول الحالي، بتنظيم من وزارة الشباب والرياضة، خاض فريق مؤلف من موظفي وزارة السياحة مباراة كرة قدم ودية ضد فريق وزارة التربية والتعليم العالي. وتستمر المباريات التي تقام على ملعب مدينة كميل شمعون الرياضية حتى ٢٠ أيلول. ⚽️🇱🇧

In an energetic atmosphere, and as part of Sports Week taking place in Lebanon from September 15 to 21, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, a team of Ministry of Tourism employees played a friendly football match against a team from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

The matches, held at the Camille Chamoun Sports City Stadium, will continue until September 20. ⚽️🇱🇧

شاركت وزيرة السياحة لورا لحود في معرض «سوق السفر العربي» (Arabian Travel Market) المنعقد في مركز دبي التجاري العالمي، وذلك في إطار تعزيز موقع لبنان وجهةً سياحية عالمية.
وعقدت الوزيرة لحود سلسلة لقاءات تركّزت على سبل التعاون والتبادل السياحي،
كما شاركت في جلسة حوارية بعنوان: « التواصل بعد انتهاء النزاع »، ناقشت خلالها سبل بناء قطاع سياحي مرن عبر التنسيق الإقليمي والدولي، وتعزيز الثقة لدى المسافرين، وتبادل الخبرات في مجالات التسويق الرقمي وإدارة الأزمات.
وأكدت الوزيرة أن لبنان يسعى إلى الاستقرار والسلام وإلى تعزيز دور السياحة كقاطرة للنمو الاقتصادي، مشدّدة على أنه يمتلك مقومات استثنائية تجعله وجهةً جاذبة على مدار العام، بفضل تنوّع منتجاته السياحية الطبيعية والتاريخية والثقافية.
وأعربت وزيرة السياحة عن ارتياحها لحجم التفاعل الإيجابي بما يعزّز مكانة لبنان ويُنشّط حركة الاستثمار في القطاع.

Minister of Tourism Laura Lahoud participated in the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, as part of efforts to strengthen Lebanon’s position as a global tourism destination.

Minister Lahoud held a series of meetings focused on opportunities for tourism cooperation and exchange. She also took part in a panel discussion entitled “Communication After Conflict,” where she discussed ways to build a resilient tourism sector through regional and international coordination, restoring traveller confidence, and sharing expertise in digital marketing and crisis management.

The Minister stressed that Lebanon is striving for stability and peace while strengthening tourism’s role as a key driver of economic growth. She highlighted the country’s exceptional assets and its potential as an attractive year-round destination, thanks to the diversity of its natural, historical, and cultural tourism offerings.

Minister Lahoud also expressed her satisfaction with the level of positive engagement at the event, which contributes to strengthening Lebanon’s position as a tourism destination and encouraging greater investment in the sector.

رعت وزيرة السياحة لورا لحود الرحلة البحرية التي نظمتها شركة “Cedar Waves” بالتعاون مع بلدية صيدا، والتي ربطت بين مرفأي جونية وصيدا.
​الوزيرة لحود أكدت على أهمية البحر للبنان على مدى السنين كصلة وصل تاريخية وثقافية وتجارية بين مدنه الساحلية والعالم. كما تمنت أن تكون هذه المبادرة خطوة أولى نحو تعزيز السياحة البحرية الداخلية كجزء أساسي من الحركة الاقتصادية.
​تخلل الرحلة جولة في المعالم التاريخية لمدينة صيدا بتنظيم من البلدية، قبل العودة إلى جونية.

Under the patronage of Minister of Tourism Laura Lahoud, “Cedar Waves,” in collaboration with the Municipality of Sidon, organized a sea trip connecting the ports of Jounieh and Sidon.

Minister Lahoud highlighted the importance of the sea to Lebanon throughout history, serving as a vital link connecting its coastal cities to the world through culture, trade, and exchange. She expressed her hope that this initiative would mark a first step toward strengthening domestic maritime tourism as an essential contributor to economic activity.

The trip included a tour of Sidon’s historical landmarks, organized by the municipality, before returning to Jounieh.

اختُتمت زيارة الأمينة العامة لمنظمة الأمم المتحدة للسياحة شيخة النويس برفقة وزيرة السياحة لورا لحود، بجولة استثنائية في جنوب لبنان وصولاً إلى مدينة صور العريقة.
​بين زواريب المدينة القديمة، بيوت ضيافة تنتظر عودة زوارها بعد الظروف الأمنيّة الأخيرة.
أما المرفأ التاريخي والآثار الرومانية فهي الشاهدة على عمق وتنوع التاريخ.
الزيارة تعبر عن رسالة تضامن وأمل ودعم دولي لسياحة لبنانية مزدهرة ومستدامة 🇱🇧

The visit of UN Tourism Secretary-General Shaikha Al Nuwais, accompanied by Minister of Tourism Laura Lahoud, concluded with a remarkable tour of southern Lebanon, reaching the historic city of Tyre.

Along the narrow streets of the old city, guesthouses await the return of visitors following the recent security challenges. Meanwhile, Tyre’s historic harbor and Roman ruins stand as enduring witnesses to the depth and diversity of its history.

The visit carried a message of solidarity, hope, and international support for a thriving and sustainable tourism sector in Lebanon 🇱🇧

ليس فقط لمجرد أنها أكل تقليدي أو بمتناول الجميع،
فقصة هذا القرص الذهبي وطريقة صنعه ثم مزجه مع الخضار والطحينة، هي فن بحد ذاته، لا يختلف اثنان على تناوله أكثر من مرة .
والجمعة ضرورية للمنافسة، خصوصاً في حضور الأصدقاء والضيوف.
