Castries Central residents are important too.
Urgent Need for the Reopening of the Castries Central Health Centre
Castries Central residents are concerned about the prolonged closure of our Health Centre. While we understand that the building has been temporarily closed due to concerns about mold, many of us in the community are deeply dissatisfied with the lack of progress in addressing this issue and the closure's continued impact on our access to healthcare services.
Furthermore, we are concerned that the government’s current focus on the demolition of the old structure for the proposed Halls of Justice is being prioritized over the well being of the residents who depend on the services that the Health Centre provides.
We urge, the Minister of Health, MP Richard Frederick and Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre to consider the pressing need for health services in Castries Central and take immediate steps to ensure that the Health Centre reopens as soon as possible. Access to healthcare is a fundamental right and it is imperative that the government puts the health and well being of the people first
