Our team recently had the invaluable opportunity to participate in the professional development workshop, "Beyond the Bench: Towards Survivor-centric Legal Practice in Sri Lanka."
Organized and conducted by the CEJ team, this vital program took place on Saturday, 4th July 2026, at the Grand Malhars Hotel in Puttalam.
The bilingual workshop (conducted in English and Tamil) focused on a crucial mission: equipping lawyers and key justice sector actors with the necessary tools to navigate sexual violence cases using gender-sensitive and trauma-informed approaches.
