Rotary Club of Uva Hills proudly handed over a newly established Computer Laboratory to the students of Bd/ Al Nuraniya Muslim Maha Vidyalaya on 27th April 2026.

This meaningful project was made possible through the generous support of Rotary Club of Anchorage East, creating new opportunities for students to enhance their digital literacy and embrace the future through technology.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all who contributed to making this valuable initiative a success. Together, we continue to empower young minds and build stronger communities through service.

Celebrating Strength, Dignity, and Compassion

In commemoration of International Women’s Day, the Rotary Club of Uva Hills, in collaboration with the Inner Wheel Club of Badulla, donated essential goods to the female inmates of Badulla Prison.

This initiative was carried out with the aim of supporting and uplifting women, reminding them that they are valued and not forgotten. On this special day, we stand together to share kindness, dignity, and hope with those who need it most.

කාන්තා දිනය නිමිත්තෙන් සෙනෙහස බෙදාගනිමු

ලෝක කාන්තා දිනය සමරමින් ඌව රොටරි සමාජය, බදුල්ල Inner Wheel සමාජය සමඟ එක්ව බදුල්ල බන්ධනාගාරයේ කාන්තා රැඳවියන් වෙත අත්‍යවශ්‍ය භාණ්ඩ පරිත්‍යාග කිරීමේ සමාජ සේවා වැඩසටහනක් සංවිධානය කරන ලදී.

මෙම වැඩසටහනේ අරමුණ වූයේ සමාජයේ සියලුම කාන්තාවන්ට ගෞරවය, සැලකිල්ල සහ ආදරය ලබාදීමත්, ඔවුන් අමතක නොවූවන් බව මතක් කිරීමත් ය.

Hope on Wheels 🚲

In the true spirit of Rotary’s commitment to Service Above Self, we are proud to announce the successful completion of the Hope on Wheels project, aimed at supporting school children and strengthening access to education.

Hope on wheels become real to the children of Bandaranayake Maha Maha Vidyalaya, Mapakadawewa, Mahiyanganaya. on 4th February, in harmony with the National Independence Day celebrations, adding deeper significance to the occasion.

We were deeply honored by the esteemed presence of IPDG Sushena Ranatunga , PDG Suri Rajan and IPDS Gamini Madanayake as our special guests,
Their encouragement and leadership greatly enriched this Rotary initiative.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all Rotarians, partners, and well-wishers whose dedication, support, and fellowship made this project a resounding success. Together, through Rotary, we continue to create hope, empower young lives, and build a better future. 💙🚲⚙️
