Launch of a powerful media campaign combatting Hate Speech, Misinformation, Disinformation and Incitement.

Sera Idea is proud to have partnered with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP Sri Lanka) to conceptualize and execute this landmark media campaign themed ‘UNDO doesn’t work in real life’.

Depicted via short video reenactments of real life stories capturing the POV of both the perpetrators and the victims, highlighting the negative impact of these actions.

An eminant panel comprising Mr. Saddha Mangala Sooriyabandara – Author & Producer, Ms. Thanuja Jayawardhena – Media Personality & TV Host, Mr. Dilshan Pathirathne – Author & Director and Mr. Sanjaya Nirmal – Director of Infomercials, Veteran Filmmaker, discussed and shared thier own personal experience with these types of activities. They went on to reiterate the important role of the media (both individually and as Networks or Organisations) in preventing and changing the mind set of the public, to build a more responsible and inclusive society.

වාසල ඇතුලු අපි හැමෝටම වුන දේවල් ආයෙ UNDO කරන්න බෑ!

වාසල කියන්නේ පොත් රචනා කරන්නෙක්. දවසක් වාසලට අහඹු ලෙස නිශාදිව හම්බෙනවා එතනින් වාසල වෙනම කතාවක් ලියන්න පටන් ගන්නවා ඒ කාතාවට මොහොමඩ්, කවීණා වගේ ගොඩාක් අයගෙ කතාත් ඇතුලත්. වාසල ගොඩාක් කතා ලියලා කියලා තිබ්බට මෙහෙම කතාවක් ලියන්නෙ පළවෙනි වතාවට. වාසලටත් එයාගෙ අතින් උන සමහර සිද්දි තේරුම් යන්නෙත් මේ පොත ලියන්න පටන් ගත්තට පස්සේ. අපි නොහිතා කරන කියන දේවල් නිසා. සැබෑ ජීවිතේදි මනුස්සයෙක්ට වෙන්න පුලුවන් ලොකුම අගතීන් දැක්කට පස්සෙ ඇහුවට පස්සෙ මොකද උනේ කියලා මේ කෙටි වීඩියෝව UNDO නොකර බලන්න.

මොහොමඩ්ට වුන දේ ආයෙ UNDO කරන්න බෑ!

මොහොමඩ් කියන්නෙ මේ අපිත් එක්ක ඉන්න අය වගේම තරුණයෙක්. හැබැයි හැමෝම වෙනුවෙන් වෙනස් විදිහට හිතන තරුණයෙක්. ඒ තරුණයා කරපු කතාවක් වෙනස් විදිහට සමාජගත කරලා ඒක වෙනම කතාවක් බවට පත්කරලා අන්තිමට ඒ කතාව ජාතිවාදී අරගලයක් බවටම පත් වුණා අපි නොහිතා කරන කියන දේවල් නිසා.

மொஹமட்கு நடந்ததை இனி UNDO செய்ய முடியாது !

மொஹமட் என்பவர் எம்மோடு இருப்பவர்களைப் போன்ற ஒரு இளைஞன். ஆனால் அனைவர் சார்பிலும் வித்தியாசமான முறையில் சிந்திக்;கும் ஒரு இளைஞன். அந்த இளைஞன் சொன்ன ஒரு கதையை வேறுவிதமாக மாற்றி சமூகமயமாக்கலுக்கு உட்படுத்தி அதை ஒரு வேறுபட்ட கதையாகவே மாற்றியமைத்து இறுதியில் அக்கதை இனவெறிப் போராட்டமாக மாறியது.

கவீணாவுக்கு நடந்ததை இனி UNDO செய்ய முடியாது !

கவீணா என்பவள் எப்பொழுதும் சமூகத்துக்கு சேவை செய்ய நினைக்கும் ஒரு யுவதி. சிறந்;த அறிவாற்றல் நிறைந்த, சேவையாற்றக் கூடிய ஒரு யுவதி.
ஆனால் இது அந்த சமூகத்தினாலேயே அவளுக்கு சேவை செய்ய இடமளிக்காத ஒரு கதை. அதற்குக் காரணம் அவளது சுற்றுச்சூழல், அவள் சந்திக்கும் நபர்கள் பற்றி தவறான கருத்துக்களை சமூகமயமாக்கலுக்கு உட்டுத்தியமையாகும். பொறுமையின் கடைசி கட்டத்தில் அவள் ஒரு தீர்மானமெடுத்தாள்.

නිශාදිට වුන දේ ආයෙ UNDO කරන්න බෑ!

නිශාදි කියන්නෙ අම්මා කෙනෙක්. නිකන්ම නිකන් අම්මා කෙනෙක් නෙවෙයි. විශේෂ අම්මා කෙනෙක්. තමන්ගෙ දරුවව බලාගන්න වැඩ කරන අම්මා කෙනෙක්. ඔයා වැඩ කරන තැන්වලත් එහෙම අම්මලා ඇති. නිශාදි ආයතන කිහිපයකම වැඩ කරා. එයාට පැවරෙන වැඩේ හරියටම කරා.
