National Dengue Control Unit,Sri Lanka The National Dengue Control Unit is the focal point for the national dengue control programme in Ministry of Health, Sri Lanka.

It was established in year 2005 as a decision taken by the Ministry of Health following the major DF/DHF outbreak in year 2004. It is responsible for the coordination of dengue control / prevention activities with different stakeholder.

ඩෙංගු මදුරුවාගේ ජීවන චක්‍රය දින 7 -10 අතර සම්පූර්ණ වේ. මෙහි අවධි 03 ක්ම ජලජ අවධි වේ. වැඩිහිටි මදුරුවා විනාශ කිරීමට වඩා ජලජ අවධිවලින්ම මෙම ජීවන චක්‍රය විනාශ කිරීම පහසුවේ. එය සිදු කිරීමට නම් ඩෙංගු මදුරුවන් බෝවන ස්ථාන විනාශ කල යුතුයි. ඔබත් අවම සතියට එක් දිනක් විනාඩි 30 ක් මේ වෙනුවෙන් යොදවන්න. ඩෙංගු රෝගය වලක්වා ගැනීමට කටයුතු කරමු.
