🟥Rainfall Update (Past 24 Hours)
✏️ Over the past 24 hours, rainfall was observed in many parts of the country.
✏️Specifically, rainfall was recorded in the Galle and Matara districts, as well as the Western, North Western, and Sabaragamuwa provinces.
✏️Rainfall also occurred in the Nuwara Eliya, Matale, and Badulla districts of the Central Province.
✏️Minor rainfall was recorded in a few locations within the Moneragala, Ampara, Batticaloa, Trincomalee, Mullaitivu, and Polonnaruwa districts.
✏️Highest Rainfall: The highest rainfall was recorded in the Northern Province, specifically in the Mankulam area (Mullaitivu district), measuring approximately 53 mm.
✏️In the Trincomalee and Mullaitivu districts, rainfall of approximately 60 mm was recorded in several areas.
✏️The Mullaitivu district recorded rainfall close to 20 mm.
✏️The Manampitiya area in the Polonnaruwa district recorded approximately 40 mm of rain.
✏️In the Moneragala district (specifically the Siyambalanduwa area), rainfall was approximately 40 mm.
✏️These indicate that significant rainfall occurred outside the Wet Zone in various parts of the country.
✏️In the upper catchment areas of the Mahaweli Ganga, specifically in the Badulla and Nuwara Eliya districts, rainfall was recorded between 20 mm and 30 mm.
✏️In the Ratnapura district (Kalu Ganga basin), rainfall in some areas ranged from 10 mm to 25 mm.
✏️Most other regions received very minor rainfall, and many areas did not experience significant rainfall.
🟥River Water Levels & Flood Risk
✏️There are no rapid increases in the water levels of any rivers.
✏️Based on the current water levels and weather conditions, there is no risk of a flood situation developing in any river basin today.
✏️The current rainfall has not caused any significant rise in water levels.
🟥Forecast & Official Advice
✏️The Department of Meteorology currently forecasts heavy rainfall exceeding 75 mm for today, particularly in the Eastern and Uva provinces.
✏️Based on these forecasts, there is a possibility of significant rainfall in these areas.
✏️The public is advised to remain vigilant regarding potential localized flood risks.
✏️Given the current rainfall patterns, short-term high-intensity showers could still occur. This can lead to localized flooding in low-lying areas.
✏️The public is advised to pay close attention to future weather forecasts and the official announcements issued by the Irrigation Department.

🟥පසුගිය පැය 24 තුළ ලංකාවේ බොහෝ ප්රදේශවලට වර්ෂාපතනය ලැබී ඇත.
✏️විශේෂයෙන් ගාල්ල සහ මාතර දිස්ත්රික්කවලටත්, බස්නාහිර, වයඹ සහ සබරගමුව පළාත්වලටත් වර්ෂාපතනයක් වාර්තා වේ.
✏️මධ්යම පළාතේ නුවරඑළිය, මාතලේ සහ බදුල්ල යන දිස්ත්රික්කවලට ද වර්ෂාව ලැබී ඇත.
✏️මීට අමතරව මොණරාගල, අම්පාර, මඩකලපුව, ත්රිකුණාමලය, මුලතිව් සහ පොළොන්නරුව දිස්ත්රික්කවල ඇතැම් ස්ථානවලට ද සුළු වර්ෂාපතනයක් වාර්තා වේ.
✏️වැඩිම වර්ෂාපතනය: ඊයේ දිනයේ වැඩිම වර්ෂාපතනය වාර්තා වී ඇත්තේ උතුරු පළාතේ මුලතිව් දිස්ත්රික්කයේ මාන්කුලම් ප්රදේශයට වන අතර එය මිලිමීටර් 53 කට ආසන්න වේ.
✏️ත්රිකුණාමලය සහ මුලතිව් දිස්ත්රික්කවල ඇතැම් ස්ථානවලට මිලිමීටර් 60 කට ආසන්න වර්ෂාපතනයක් ලැබී තිබේ.
✏️මුලතිව් දිස්ත්රික්කයට මිලිමීටර් 20 කට ආසන්න වර්ෂාපතනයක් වාර්තා වේ.
✏️පොළොන්නරුව දිස්ත්රික්කයේ මනම්පිටිය ප්රදේශයට මිලිමීටර් 40 කට ආසන්න වර්ෂාපතනයක් ලැබී ඇත.
✏️මොණරාගල දිස්ත්රික්කයේ සියඹලාණ්ඩුව ප්රදේශයට මිලිමීටර් 40 කට ආසන්න වර්ෂාපතනයක් වාර්තා වේ.
✏️මෙමඟින් තෙත් කලාපයෙන් පිටත ප්රදේශවලට සැලකිය යුතු වර්ෂාපතනයක් ලැබී ඇති බව පැහැදිලි වේ.
✏️මහවැලි ගඟේ ඉහළ ද්රෝණියේ බදුල්ල සහ නුවරඑළිය දිස්ත්රික්කවලට මිලිමීටර් 20 ත් 30 ත් අතර වර්ෂාපතනයක් වාර්තා වේ.
✏️රත්නපුර දිස්ත්රික්කයේ කළු ගඟ ද්රෝණියේ ඇතැම් ස්ථානවලට මිලිමීටර් 10 ත් 25 ත් අතර වර්ෂාපතනයක් ලැබී ඇත.
✏️අනෙකුත් බොහෝ ප්රදේශවලට ඉතා සුළු වර්ෂාපතනයක් ලැබී ඇති අතර, බොහෝ ස්ථානවලට විශාල වර්ෂාපතනයක් වාර්තා වී නොමැත.
🟥ගංගා ජල මට්ටම් සහ ගංවතුර අවදානම
✏️කිසිදු ගංගාවක ජල මට්ටමේ ශීඝ්ර වැඩිවීමක් මේ වන විට පෙන්නුම් කරන්නේ නැත.
✏️මේ දක්වා පවතින වර්ෂාපතන තත්ත්වයන් යටතේ අද දිනයේදී කිසිදු ගංගාවක ගංවතුර තත්ත්වයක් ඇතිවීමේ අවදානමක් නිරීක්ෂණය නොවේ.
✏️පවතින වර්ෂාපතනය හේතුවෙන් ගංගාවල ජල මට්ටමේ සැලකිය යුතු වැඩිවීමක් සිදු වී නොමැත.
🟥ඉදිරි කාලගුණ තත්ත්වය සහ උපදෙස්
✏️අද දින සඳහා කාලගුණ විද්යා දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේ පුරෝකථනය වන්නේ විශේෂයෙන් නැගෙනහිර සහ ඌව පළාත්වල ඇතැම් ස්ථානවලට මිලිමීටර් 75 ඉක්මවූ තද වර්ෂාපතනයක් ලැබිය හැකි බවයි.
✏️මෙම පුරෝකථනයන් අනුව, මෙම ප්රදේශවලට සැලකිය යුතු වර්ෂාපතනයක් ලැබීමේ හැකියාවක් පවතී.
