🌿 SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED | SUSTAINABLE LAND MANAGEMENT & BIODIVERSITY CONSERVATION PROGRAMME – NUWARA ELIYA DISTRICT 🌿

The National Institute of Plantation Management (NIPM) successfully conducted the Sustainable Land Management and Biodiversity Conservation Programme for stakeholders in the Nuwara Eliya District at the NIPM Bogawantalawa Regional Centre, under the GEF-funded Capacity Building Initiatives.

The programme focused on enhancing participants’ knowledge and practical understanding of:

Japanese Ceylon Tea Enthusiasts Visit NIPM

The National Institute of Plantation Management (NIPM) was pleased to welcome a group of Ceylon Black Tea enthusiasts from Japan for an industry-focused visit and knowledge-sharing discussion.

The visit provided an opportunity to discuss the exceptional quality, unique character, and global reputation of Ceylon Black Tea, with particular attention to opportunities for expanding its presence and market potential in Japan.

The discussions also explored opportunities for future collaboration with tea-related organizations in Sri Lanka, with a shared interest in promoting high-quality Ceylon Tea, strengthening international market linkages, facilitating knowledge exchange, and creating new opportunities for the Sri Lankan tea industry.

NIPM is committed to supporting meaningful partnerships among tea industry stakeholders, international tea enthusiasts, and relevant organizations in Sri Lanka, contributing to the continued development and global recognition of Ceylon Tea.
