At the request of residents of St. Benedict Mawatha, Kotahena, a dangerous tree was safely removed, ensuring greater safety for the community.

Inspection visit to the paramanantha Pansala Preschool at Paramananda Vihara Mawatha, Kotahena, colombo13 together with Chairman of the Early Childhood Development Standing Committee Hon. Thajudeen, committee members, and Charity Commissioner Mrs. Sashini.

We visited after a request from the Pansala Hamuduruwo to look into possible CMC support for the preschool.

As the Ward Councillor, I am also working towards establishing a CMC Day Care Centre in Kotahena to better support children and working parents in our community.

A big thank you to the committee members, the Charity Commissioner, and all the officers who joined and supported the visit.

Inspection of the Colombo Municipal Council Maternity Clinic at Wasala Road, Kotahena, Colombo 13, serving the Kotahena East and Lunupokuna Wards.

Several issues requiring urgent attention were identified during the inspection. I will follow up with the relevant authorities to ensure the necessary improvements are made for the benefit of mothers, babies, and healthcare staff.
