In Sri Lanka Private Health Services Regulatory Council has participants from the Government as well as private sector. This unique situation has its own advantages and disadvantages. If everyone is taking fair and justifiable decisions this is very appropriate.

I spent whole of my Saturday morning in searching for private health services regulations in the World.Amazing to that almost all of them I searched ,the regulations lie with the Government. Sri Lanka seems to be the only exception. No wonder we have many problems and issues because we have tried to be an exception.
