A productive discussion on Kiribathgoda Development was held under the chairmanship of Hon. Dr. Upali Pannilage, Minister of Rural Development, Social Security and Community Empowerment, together with Hon. Kumara Jayakody, Minister of Energy, at the Ministry of Rural Development, Social Security and Community Empowerment.

The meeting focused on identifying short-term solutions to reduce traffic congestion at the Kiribathgoda Junction, one of the busiest transport nodes in the Gampaha District.

During the discussion, special attention was given to:
• Opening the pre-designated pedestrian pathway along the main road, and
• Constructing an overhead pedestrian bridge as a short-term measure to improve pedestrian safety and traffic flow.

Officials from the Road Development Authority (RDA) and the Urban Development Authority (UDA) participated in the discussion and shared their technical views and planning considerations. The Chairman of the Kelaniya Pradeshiya Sabha also participated in the meeting and contributed to the discussion.

These initiatives aim to enhance urban mobility, pedestrian safety, and traffic management in Kiribathgoda, contributing to the sustainable development of the Gampaha District.

ගම්පහ ඔරුතොට ඇවිදින මන්තීරුව ප්‍රතිසංවර්ධනය සඳහා ගත යුතු පියවර සම්බන්ධයෙන් විශේෂ සාකච්ඡාවක් පසුගිය සෙනසුරාදා (20) පැවැත්වුණා .නාගරික සන්වර්ධන ඇමති ප්‍රසන්න රණතුංග මැතිතුමාගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් මේ සාකච්ඡාව පැවැත්වුනේ ඔරුතොට ඇවිදින මන්තීරුවේදී. එහි ව්‍යායාම කරන පිරිසකගේ ඉල්ලීමකට අනුවයි මේ සාකච්චාව සිදුකෙරුනේ. 2011 වසරේදී මේ ඇවිදින මං තීරුව නිර්මාණය කර ඇත්තේ එවකට ආර්ථික සංවර්ධන අමාත්‍යාංශය විසින්. ගම්පහ මහනගර සභාව වෙත එහි නඩත්තු කටයුතු ඉන් අනතුරුව පවරා තිබෙනවා. පසුගිය වැසි කාලයේ දී මෙම ඇවිදින මන්තීරුවේ ස්ථාන දෙකක් ඛාදනයට ලක් වී ඇති බව මෙහිදී නිරීක්ෂණය වුණා. නාගරික සංවර්ධන අධිකාරියේ මැදිහත්වීමෙන් මෙහි ප්‍රතිසංවර්ධන කටයුතු ආරම්භ කිරීමටයි තීරණය කෙරුණේ.

නාගරික සංවර්ධන අධිකාරියේ ගම්පහ කාර්යාලයේ නව වසරේ රාජකාරි ආරම්භ කිරීම ඊයේ(1) සිදු කෙරුනා.ඒ ගම්පහ අතිරේක දිස්ත්‍රික් ලේකම් ඩබ්.ටී.එච්.ආර් විතාන මහතාගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන්.එහිදී අපගේ කාර්යාලයේ ෆේස්බුක් පිටුව නිල වශයෙන් ආරම්භ කිරීමද සිදුඋනා.
