🚦 Road Safety Awareness Programme 🚦

A valuable Road Safety Awareness Programme was conducted at our school on 8th July 2026 with the participation of two officers from the Kuruwita Police Station.

The officers educated our students on the importance of following road rules and safe road practices.

They also conducted a practical demonstration to help students understand how to cross roads safely and responsibly.

We sincerely thank the officers of the Kuruwita Police Station for their valuable guidance and support.

🦟 Let's Defeat Dengue! 🦟

As part of the National Dengue Prevention Campaign and in accordance with the government circular, our school successfully conducted a dengue eradication programme on 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 7th and 8th July 2026.

Students, teachers and parents worked together to eliminate mosquito breeding sites within the school and its surrounding areas.

The programme concluded with a Dengue Awareness Walk through Kuruwita town on 8th July where students displayed informative posters to raise public awareness about dengue prevention.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the parents for their valuable support as well as to the Public Health Inspector (Kuruwita MOH Office) and the Kuruwita Traffic Police for their immense assistance and cooperation in making this programme a success.

Welcoming Ramadan 2026

Our school was blessed to hold a special program today to welcome the holy month of Ramadan 2026.

We were honored to have Moulavi Ijas (Jawadi) as our special guest who delivered an inspiring preaching about the importance of Ramadan.

Our students added beauty to the program by presenting various performances based on Ramadan. Their speeches, recitations and creative items truly reflected the spirit of this sacred month.

🌼 Grade 01 Enrollment – 2026 🌼

Our school successfully conducted the Grade 01 Enrollment for 2026 in accordance with the government circular under the beautiful theme 'To school with happiness, smiles and love…' (සතුට, සිනාව හා ආදරය සමඟ පාසල වෙත…)

It was truly a joyful and memorable occasion for our new little ones as well as for the entire school community.

We were honoured to have Dr. Viraj Jayasinghe, Medical Officer of the Kuruwita MOH Office as the Chief Guest along with other distinguished guests including our former teachers, members of the School Development Committee and all others who were present.
