• Being amongst the largest tea manufacturers and growers in the region we service over 1200 smallholders and provide employment to over 300 employees.

• Kurugama Tea Factory is capable of providing the market with over one million kilograms of graded black tea annuall

• Eighteen different grades of tea are produced, with each grade having a unique flavor, strength and aroma to suit every market worldwide.

• With over 300 acres of well maintained tea estates in the Kandy region, where the tea is notable for full body and strength, we ensure that only the tender-most leaves are handpicked, thus preserving the unique quality and strong character.
