ABOUT OUR ADMIN
Nilu has devoted her life to rescuing, raising, healing, nurturing, teaching
and releasing orphaned and injured squirrels and any other animal domestic or wild that is brought to her. She started this online group to help educate anyone who has found a squirrel in need of care and compassion. Nilu has been taught by the best, and knows the proper diets that squirrels need at each stage of their life. She also knows the proper methods of treatment for their injuries and diseases. In teaching others, she is patient, thorough and very compassionate—and will make sure all squirrels are released into their natural habitats when they are ready. Nilu has been fighting endlessly against the capture and sale of these wild creatures as pets. She is also working closely with others like her, and has raised and released a protected Grizzled Giant Squirrel. If there is anyone who should have their own sanctuary, it is Nilu Silva!
