A successful workshop on Tea Replanting was conducted by the TRISL Head Office for executives and field officers of Upcountry Estates of Kelani Valley Plantations (Hayleys Group) on 07th April 2026.

The program focused on both theoretical and practical aspects of Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) in Tea Replanting, providing valuable knowledge and hands-on insights to participants.

The session was facilitated by TRISL resource persons:
• Mr. K.R.W.B. Kahandawa – Senior Advisory Officer
• Dr. C.J. Liyanarachchi – Senior Advisory Officer
• Ms. Jeevika Rajendra – Extension Officer

The workshop was held at Ingestre Estate, Dickoya, under the patronage of Mr. Dilum Pathirana, Director – Plantations, Kelani Valley Plantations.
