Savi Java, means "strong win" in english. It is a Developpement Foundation that helps the population of Weligama on a local scale . Many different projects related to education, health, self employement, fishing, farming , house building and social improvement are funded by them since 2009. Savi Jaya Development Foundation is the local Partner of Ayubowan asbl Luxembourg, who have been working in the Weligama area since the Tsunami in 2004. Their projects are co-financed by the Luxembourg Ministry of Cooperation (Ministry of Foreign Affairs)
