Participants from Marryland, Sinoe, Bomi, Gbapolu,Gbarnga, and Lofa have qualified to join the academy in Monrovia. According to officials from UNMIL, this year’s programme once again has brought in so many talented young people to the limelight. The officials also noted that Government of Liberia, UNMIL, UNICEF, Comium, Population services International (PSI) are supporting this year’s star is Born programme.

The finalists will take part in a boot camp beginning 30 where they will receive voice and Music training, practice with UNMIL Band, workshops on pertinent social issues. Prominent figures will visit the contestants in the academy. So far, three elimination series are organized in Sinoe, Tubmanburg and Gbarnga.

A star is Born 2010, Montserrado Elimination series A star is Born Montserrado sector elimination takes place on Saturday 27 November 2010 2pm at Golden Beach Sinkor A total of 20 young contestants, from Monrovia and Margibi will take part in the singing competition. The panel of Judges will select 11 qualifiers top government and UN officials, prominent Musicians and young people are expected to attend the programme

Three Contestants that qualified from Sector 3 elimination of a Star is Born in Gbarnga and are due to enter the eviction round in Monrovia, watch out for Miss OWENLYN DUMBAR in the house.

Sector 2 and 4 elimination of a Star is born will take place this Saturday in Tubmnaberg and Gbarnga repectively. Who are those contestants that wil join the rest in the house on the 29 November 2010, watch out is gonna be fun check the contestants out and predict who will win this year competition.

Monrovia 2nd Audituon of a Star is born was completed suceessful on saturday watch out for the sector elimination for Montserrado, while the sector three(3) elimination was also completed in grand style.

Sector three (3) of a Star is Born elimination kick of today with six counties, Sineo, Maryland, River Cess, Grand Kru, Grand Geddeh and River Gee. Contestants from various counties are gear up for the elimination round with voices of Bemmelia Bedel 9, Dweh Jah Jr 18, Blessing E kpedy 16 and Co firing up their singing talent to enter the house in Monrovia.
