Hi and happy new year to all my Facebook friends. I know it has been an unusual while since I passed by to update you. Today I am here to do just that on somethingg I am very excited about.
As many of you know by now, at least since the last 8 years, Because Others Care, the BABMOC organization has been providing fees free education for children in Liberia, particularly so for those in the Barnersville and Johnsonville areas. The service which began with schooling 72 children in K-II through grade 3 in 2017, has since reached the 6th grade level at least four years ago and serving more than 150 students annually.

But what brought me here today is not to count long past glory, rather, what has been unfolding recently. One of such excitements is the completion of our Multipurpose Court, which simply began as students' play ground for sports like basket ball, tennis, etc..

But guess what! As you will clearly notice in the accompanying video, a recent upgrade not only improved the safety nature of the court, but it now has a provision to accommodate teachers, staff, and even parents who might want to take advantage of the opportunity. For example, I personally tested it today to figure out if I could walk up to a mile, which is 24 times around the court, without exhaustion, which I did in about 24 minutes, wow! To me, folks, that was not a bad result, more so for an old man with hurting legs, ha...ha.

On behave of the BABMOC family in Liberia - parents, students, teachers and support staff, your humble servant says many...many thanks to all the caring people who made this project and the rest in 2025 possible. The Bear Another's Burdens Ministry of Christ (BABMOC) is indeed also the symbol of When Others Care. This meaning was demonstrated in real time by Team BABMOC Liberia when it installed, dedicated and turned over two standing pipes supplying drinking water to fellow community dwellers, especially those closest to the Eastern and Western sides of BABMOC School Site 1 compound.
In his acceptance remarks , the Community Block D's Chairperson said, "there could be no better timing, especially with the dry seasoni closing in and when most water wells will be running dry. We are grateful to BABMOC and supporters", he concluded.

Dear everyone,
As Bear Another's Burdens Ministry of Christ (BABMOC) brings to a close a month-long celebration of the 8th year of an uninterrupted operation of its fees free school system in Liberia, we thought you would like to join us, in person or otherwise, in this great time of fellowship, hence this open invitation.

The program is scheduled to be held on Sunday, November 30, 2025, beginning at 4:00 P. M on the Site 1 campus of the BABMOC School System, located in Kpelle Town, Block D, Barnersville, Montserrado County.

Please come and/or send to help support our humanitarian gestures. We are specifically seeking help to fund our subsidized hot meal program and scholarships to help our graduates who are struggling to continue their schooling .

Hey folks, I like when Facebook asks, "What's on your mind?". On my part, it is to express heartfelt love and best wishes to all those I consider my friends in real life and on social media. I am indeed grateful that because of Christ's Love for all mankind, you have considered me your friend, and have, one way or the other, been working with me, openly, or behind the scenes, to make my dream of providing a fees free Elementary School Service in Liberia, a reality. I wish God's blessings upon all of you as we celebrate Easter, and pray that God will see us through another Easter celebration and beyond, Amen!

For those my friends who have not been involved with the mission of BABMOC (Bear Another's Burdens Ministry of Christ), in Liberia, I pray that God will lead you to helping, especially to help us raise support for our local Scholarship program to help our graduates who are now in fees paying schools.

This was Day 2 of first Marking Period Test for the 2023 - 2024 School Year at the Site 1 location of The BABMOC School System, a School System in which no money, - for registration, tuition, and for other fees - is required for a student to enroll. Please help to sustain the program, God bless!

Happy first Sunday in August everyone,

I have a testimony, which for those of you who are professional, career leaders, it is just an affirmation of what I believe you already know, and for those who are not, it could motivate you to add to your tools kit.
Of course if you are in Liberia, you surely know it has been raining dog and cat, as heavy rainy days are described in Liberia; whenever that happens, drainages get clogged with particles, which then demands immediate attention. But how can you, a person who has feelings for people with the responsibility to clean up, have them go in the wet, to say the least, or under the rain to carry out the task, it is indeed challenging. But like I always tell people whenever I am teaching or giving council in leadership, there are tools available to leaders, like craftsmen with tools like hammers, trowels, hand saws, etc., a leader can choose to use, depending on the situation at hand. And one of such tools for leaders is leading by example. So was the case with me and two of my team members at the BABMOC'S School System's Site 1 Campus in Kpelle Town, Barnersville, Liberia. The videos immediately following these statements are a demonstration of the use of this tool - leading by example. In the first video, after I found it was challenging to demand of the clean up team a clean up of the manhole to the main drainage line, because not only the ground was wet, but because it was still kind of raining, I took unto myself a set of cleaning tools, and the rest is history. I thank God for touching the hearts of team members David and Jefferson, who came in voluntarily to rescue me from....., ha...ha.

What's on my mind?
Here's what:
Today is July 4th, a day Americans, residents of America, as well as well-wishers living in there, and elsewhere in the world, celebrate as the independence day of the great United States of America.
As the celebration enters it's last hours, I like to do what I love doing best - to openly express gratitude to people who are selfless, Christlike. In this case, I am particularly referring to the supports and well-wishers of Bear Another's Burdens Ministry of Christ BABMOC) in the United States, more so the people living in Johnson City, Tennessee.
As they end another round of celebration, and look forward to the next time of celebration in 2024, we want them to know how much the BABMOC'S Family in Liberia appreciates them for their support, and that we pray for them each day for God's blessings upon their lives. To all of you BABMOC'S supported, wherever you are in the US and elsewhere, please accept the accompanying image of flower as a token of our gratitude and best wishes as you end today's celebration. May God replanish unto you double, or more over what what you support BABMOC with, Amen, and Amen!

All, to answer today's question, "What on your mind?", here's what on my mind:
It is to share with you my testimony about what I called a genuine surprise.
As always, especially in the last five years, I woke up this morning, thanked the good Lord for waking me up. And because I was running late for our regular prayer service, held here at BABMOC'S Site 1 Campus every Sunday, I quickly got not formally dressed and on, on I went, just to meet the second of what I call a real surprise to a person.
Today, June 25, 2023, members of the BABMOC'S Fellowship, at its Head Quarters location, showered on my sister and I flowers, symbolizing their level of appreciations for what they described as the Motherly and Fatherly roles they said we have been playing, and continue to play in the lives of children in our paths without boundary. Unlike my sister, who later confessed that she was a part of the planning, I had no idea that such honor was coming my way. I was so much caught unaware, over come by emotion that I just didn't know how to start an acceptance remarks. It fact, it reminded me about similar gesture on the part of a dear friend, who, for my 50th Birthday, surprisingly planned and held a party, bringing together nearly all of my friends in the US to Johnson City, Tennessee, without my know.
At first, I really didn't appreciate the gesture because I felt that it made me to appear before my friends, some I have not seen for years, half dressed. But amazingly as years rolled out, I became to realize that such move is what one can actually refer to as a genuine surprise.
Today's program, as small and short as it was, will forever remain with me. Speaking for the body, Ms. Annie J. Barrolle, moderator for the Fellowship, said it was the body's way of wishing my sister and I Happy...Happy Mother's and Father's Days. Earlier, Rev. Garway, PTA Chair person , thanked my sister for being so supportive of BABMOC'S mission, and for his part, Mr. Steven Sonah, a parent in BABMOC School, thanked me for for initiating the idea of BABMOC.
For myself, the BABMOC'S Family, and on behalf of my sister, I say many....many thanks to the organizers - the leadership and members of BABMOC'S Fellowship, Sites 1 & 2. May God richly bless and return to them great favor, Amen!
