The concert was a celebration of Liberian and Irish musical heritage featuring the Liberia National Academy of Music (LINAM), Liberia Premier Choral Society, and Ireland's Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann.

Introducing the third of our musical artists who will perform at our concert with the Liberia National Academy of Music next week!

23 times All-Ireland champion Ademar O’Connor is a multi-instrumentalist who has performed all over the world and won All-Ireland titles on fiddle, button accordion, banjo, piano, melodeon, and mandolin. In 2023 he won the senior All-Ireland title on fiddle and banjo in Mullingar, and in the same year he also won the Fiddler Of London, the Fiddler of Dooney in Sligo and the Ed Reavy fiddle competition in Cavan. In 2025 he won his 23rd All-Ireland title in Wexford .

He is looking forward to bringing his love of traditional music to Monrovia.
