The 2026 edition of the Liberian Agricultural Company (LAC) General Manager Annual Sports Tournament has successfully concluded β€” bringing together teams across the plantation in four weeks of energy, talent, and unity through football and kickball.

πŸ† In a thrilling final held on April 12, the Social Services Team secured the football trophy for the second consecutive year, narrowly defeating Estate 1 (1–0). On the kickball field, Estate 1 Team claimed victory over Estate 3 (5–2).

In our communities, progress is often measured not just by numbers, but by the strength of partnerships and the support we give one another every day. When smallholders succeed, families grow stronger, and entire communities move forward.

Recently, we received a Certificate of Honor from the Rubber Planters Association of Liberia (RPAL) and the Rubber Development Fund Incorporated (RDFI) during a ceremony held in Margibi County, in the presence of the Honourable Minister of Agriculture, Dr. J. Alexander Nuetah, Margibi County Superintendent Ojay Godfavor Morris, RPAL President Madam Wilhelmina G. Mulbah-Siaway, and RDFI Chairman Hon. Tokpah J. Mulbah. Representing LAC, Mr. Deepak Divakaran received the award and shared key milestones, including the training of over 300 tappers in 2025 and the distribution of more than one million rubber stumps since 2009. He also conveyed the appreciation and commitment of LAC’s General Manager, Mr. Naveen Madan. These efforts continue to directly support smallholders, improve access through road rehabilitation, and strengthen livelihoods across rural communities.

At Liberian Agricultural Company, we believe that strong partnerships between communities, institutions, and leaders are the foundation of sustainable growth. We remain committed to working side by side with smallholders, building trust, and creating opportunities that uplift everyday lives.
