FORMER RADIO BOSS ELECTED MAYOR OF QUTHING
Lehlohonolo Mohola, the former radio station manager of Mose Ho Seaka Community Radio was yesterday elected the chairperson of the Quthing Urban Council, at the special council meeting.
A former soldier and reputable radio anchor, Mohola's nomination was uncontested. He represented the Democratic Congress in the GUC-06 Electoral division and won the ED hands-down.
"In the beginning, when God created the universe, the earth was formless and desolate," said Mohola in his maiden speech.
"Nothing defines the town of Quthing better than the above Bible verses. My dream is to head a council that will give our town a proper appearance. The current status quo makes one to be ashamed to tell they are from Quthing," concluded Mohola.
He is deputised by Tumahole Tsoelipe from Ha Ntho.
