🔬 Where Academia Meets Policy! 🇱🇸

Exciting things are happening at the Faculty of Social Sciences! 🙌

Our Department of Economics (DoE) has been hard at work alongside the Research & Development team at Revenue Services Lesotho (RSL), channeling the power of their MoU into groundbreaking research:

📊 “Tax Capacity and Tax Efforts in Lesotho: A Sectoral Analysis”

This collaborative study is diving deep into how different sectors of our economy contribute to and are affected by — tax policy.
The goal? Smarter, data-driven decisions for a stronger Lesotho.

We recently wrapped up expert focus group sessions as part of our data collection and what a session it was! DoE researchers, RSL’s Research & Development experts, and our brilliant Postgraduate students came together for dynamic, knowledge-packed discussions.

This is what the NUL–RSL partnership looks like in action — and we couldn’t be prouder!

💡 Research. Partnership. Impact.
