Planning a trip to the United States? Do you know if you need an ESTA or a visa?

The Visa Waiver Program allows qualified Lithuanian nationals to go to the United States for up to 90 days without a visa. It’s important to know what you can and CANNOT do an on ESTA.

Activities allowed with ESTA (for 90 days or less):
- transiting through the United States
- tourism
- enrollment in a short recreational course, not for credit toward a degree (for example, a two-day cooking class while on vacation)
- business meetings
- attending a conference

Activities that require a visa:
- studying for credit
- employment
- work as foreign press, radio, film, journalists, or other information media
- stays longer than 90 days.
