🇱🇺 𝗟𝘂𝘅𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗴 𝗮𝘁 GITEX AI EUROPE 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲
Yesterday, the Chambre de Commerce du Luxembourg, together with the Embassy of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in Berlin and Luxinnovation GIE, kickstarted its Trade Fair Visit to GITEX AI EUROPE.
For the first time, the visit went beyond the exhibition itself, with a dedicated programme designed to immerse the business delegation in Berlin’s innovation ecosystem with the objective to strengthen regional cooperation and support Europe’s technological sovereignty.
🚀 On day 1, they had the opportunity to visit Technologiepark Adlershof and engage with German startups and key stakeholders to explore synergies.
This momentum continued during the official reception at the Embassy of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in Berlin with the presence of H.E. Ambassador Sylvie Lucas.
Today, the delegation is exploring global AI trends at GITEX focusing on scaling AI across Europe, with an emphasis on digital sovereignty and cloud infrastructure. Topics of strategic importance for Europe, they were also reflected in the addresses of key political speakers present at GITEX, including German Federal Minister for Digital Transformation Karsten Wildberger and the Dutch Minister for Economic Affairs and Sovereignty Willemijn Aerdts. On the infrastructure and industry side, major European cloud and hosting players as the German company IONOS, represented by its CEO Achim Weiss, illustrate the critical role of sovereign cloud capabilities in enabling large-scale AI deployment across Europe.
🔜 The day will conclude with the Benelux Networking Event leveraging this international platform to bring together the Belgian, Dutch and Luxembourg business communities to foster cross-border exchanges the field of AI.
