🌈🎉Bród sona daoibh/Happy Pride from the Embassy of Ireland in Luxembourg!

❤️ Over the weekend, Ambassador Jean McDonald and DHoM Caoimhe McCarthy were delighted to lead the float at the annual Luxembourg Pride Equality March 2026 🇮🇪🏳️‍🌈.

🧡 Thank you to all who participated on the float 🇦🇹, 🇧🇪, 🇨🇿, 🇨🇻, 🇯🇵, 🇳🇱, 🇷🇴, 🇬🇧, 🇪🇺 and to those who couldn't make it on the day but support this important cause!

💛 The promotion and protection of the rights of LGBTQI+ persons is an important priority for Ireland, and so we were delighted to be able to showcase our focus on Values as a key pillar of Ireland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2026.

💚 We also had the opportunity to hear from Luxembourg's Minister for Gender Equality and Diversity Yuriko Backes, and Deputy Prime Minister Xavier Bettel, who even joined us on the float with a very special guest! 🐾

💜 A big GRMA/thank you to all at Rosa Lëtzebuerg for organising 🙏.
